Exhibition As Social Action:

What We’re Doing:
This exhibition will be a multi-medial walk through the Cycle of Socialization. You will be choosing your own path through the cycle, and witnessing art, video, and performance along the way. This exhibition will inspire you to create change, and stop harmful socialization.

Problems This Exhibition is Addressing:
We are using this exhibition as a method of social action. We are educating the community on sociology, and helping them to see that they can be the direction for change.

What I Would Be Excited About Doing/What I Want to Work On:

Construction Team:
  • Decorates
  • Crafts Sculpture
  • Creates Art
  • Builds Framework
I love to build and work on things with my hands. I am very precise and accurate, yet also creative and artistic, and I would be excited to work with the Construction Team, sculpting and building.

Project Manager:
  • Oversees Other Groups
  • Provides Assistance & Feedback
  • Takes a Leadership Role
  • Communicates Between the Teams & Answers Questions
I would love to take a leadership role like this for our exhibition. I believe that I would be good for this position because productivity matters to me, and I would be able to check-in and help all the different groups during the exhibition-creation process. I would be excited to work as a Project Manager, and help make this exhibition possible.

Design Team:
  • Brainstorms and Sketches their Ideas for the Rooms
  • Designs the Layout of the Exhibition
  • Tells the Construction Team What is Needed
  • Arranges the Aspects of the Exhibition at the Exhibition
I have a lot of ideas for this project, and I would be excited to work on the Design Team, and bring those ideas to life. I would be tying in the Construction Team, Performers, Videographers and Location Service Teams, and helping them with what to do.
